Golden Bloom K-Cups Review

Golden bloom k cups, Hannaford’s version isn’t noticeably acidic. That’s an important trait for heavy coffee drinkers, and this blend is surprisingly rich and satisfying for a K-cup that you can pick up for less than $5 at a Price Chopper store. This isn’t the best black coffee we’ve ever had, but it’s worth a try for any Keurig owner looking for a budget option.

There’s no reason to write off value brands based on their low price alone, and Walmart has been producing some excellent in-house K-cups in our previous tests. However, Great Value’s House Blend is a poor choice that we can only recommend if you don’t mind wasting money on something that doesn’t actually taste good at all.

Golden Bloom K-Cups: The Mushroom Coffee Experience

The lone positive about this coffee is that it isn’t bitter or acidic, which is why we rank it higher than some of the worst K-cups on our list. It also has a slight sweetness to it, which is nice if you’re looking for a flavored K-cup to avoid the bitter and acidic flavors of many of its competitors.

The smell that hits your nose as you open the box is a promise of a flavor that doesn’t come through at all. After a burst of warm watery brew washes over your tongue, ghosts of the nutty and caramel flavors on the package are all that you’ll get. The only reason this doesn’t rank at the bottom of our list is that it’s not utterly terrible.
